Author Description Full name John Michael Drinkrow Hardwick. He was a novelist and writer who frequently collaborated with his wife, Mollie Hardwick, particularly on books about Sherlock Holmes. Michael Hardwick's adaptations of the Sherlock stories for radio broadcasting on the B.B.C. have been rebroadcast by more overseas stations than any other programme.
