Author Description Bernadette “Berni” Johnson began her career at age 6 when she crayoned a book about her mom that received a rave review from its lone reader. In her youth, she devoured the entire sci-fi section of the local library and dabbled in computer programming (and gaming) on an Atari 1200, leading to an IT career in adulthood. <br /><br />She also kept one foot in humanities and literature, earned a couple of English degrees, and continued to write. Her works include around fifty technology articles for HowStuffWorks.com, <i>The Big Book of Spy Trivia</i>, <i>The Big Book of Horse Trivia for Kids</i>, <i>The Big Book of Cryptid Trivia</i>, several short stories published here and there, and much more fiction and nonfiction in the works. <br /><br />When she’s not writing or fiddling with a computer, she watches movies and TV, reads other people's books, studies various topics, and does the bidding of her terrier.<br />
