Author Description Wyman Woods Guin (pseud: Norman Menasco) (March 1, 1915 – February 19, 1989) was a pharmacologist and advertising executive best known for writing science fiction.<br /><br />Born in Wanette, Oklahoma, he started publishing in 1950, but gained attention the following year with Beyond Bedlam. He is most known as a short story writer and was strongly associated with Galaxy Science Fiction. He produced only one novel, The Standing Joy.<br />
